Amen. It took me until my early thirties to understand this interpretation of sin and God's commands. When we speak of "God the Father", I believe this is what it means.

When we speak of "God the Father", I believe this is what it means.And it's how you can get psalms like 19 and 119. LAW is not a good translation of Torah, I suspect. "Teaching" is good and I like "instruction" because that has aspects both of "command" and of "teaching". When things don't work, the instructions are SO NICE to have!
