You know, I think I have mentioned the "hidden man of the heart" quite a few times on this forum.

I refer to it at other times as being the anawim, or living the Nazareth life.

I didn't pull that thought out of thin air.

It is referenced plainly or obliquely numerous times in Sacred Scripture.

It is why, in the end, all that is hidden will be revealed.

It is in the innermost of our being that Our Lord and His Heavenly Father "come to take their abode in us."

And to anyone who calls upon the name of Jesus, that one will be saved.

All this isn't news to me, a Catholic---though it is always the Good News.

Thank You, Lord.

I think "the hidden man of the heart" is the same "man" referenced here...

"But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.

For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified." -- Hebrews 10:12-14

"And I will give them one heart, And I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh" -- Ezekiel 11:19

"And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them." -- Ezekiel 36:27
