Some of us Calvinists found this earlier and were surprised by the misinterpretations that it puts forth. None of us knows this group and most of us do not agree with its sentiments which certainly are in tune with the Roman Catholic perspective, sadly.

You can agree or disagree with these people all you want, but do not hold it up as what most Reformed believers acknowledge.

"And that because of false brethren unawares brought in, who came in privily to spy out our liberty which we have in Christ Jesus, that they might bring us into bondage" -- Galatians 2:4

A few of us Calvinists were thinking this site is one confused muddle of Roman Catholicism in Reformed clothing. None of us has heard of this group which makes such startling claims as...

"We suggest that you consider having a standard service of confession for the entire season of Lent. The service of confession is an integral part of Reformed worship; the worshiper comes before the presence of God in humility and receives a renewed assurance that God's pardon covers all his/her sins."

"Standard service of confession???" Have you ever heard or seen anything like this?

To my knowledge, this does not exist within the Regulative Principal of Worship to which most Reformed churches subscribe.

These guys, whoever they are, are just making it up as they go along and carelessly mislabeling their own peculiar ideas.

"*Passing the Peace"

Is this the same as collecting the offering? I don't see the collection or the announcements of "ministry opportunities" anywhere. I don't think this is authentic. I don't see where the budget numbers are printed or the deficit in the budget or who is responsible for the flowers on the communion table. This is obviously a bogus "Wittenburg Door" spoof.

Looking at their site, it looks like they are CRC - and we know what direction they are heading at a rapid pace.
