Now you go on to point out real facts in the story which in no way uphold with certainty your basic claim that he was Presbyterian prior to becoming Catholic.

It's a safe conclusion that most parents will raise their children in their faith. As a Catholic, it would never have occured to me to raise my daughter as a Baptist. Does that make sense?

Those christian denominations NOT in accord with the Catholic Church, are usually referred to as "Protestant". Where is the problem in my post?
