This is NOT ok with the Vatican. They tried this in Boston too. Turns out it was some rogue priest, not a true Catholic anymore. What the Church did, was refuse to have their name associated with the charities any longer, due to the fact that they were told they had to let gays adopt, could not be exempt due to it being against church doctrine. So, there, it is no longer associated with the church, and is no longer "Catholic" Family Charities. They more or less yanked the name and withdrew the association with the charity.
