Don't be too harsh on them. Most Episcopalians don't look outside of what's happening in their own parish (if they even see all of that), and the organization of the church makes that quite possible.

It's really only when they are "forced" to look further that they see what's going on (in my case it was simply becoming a delegate to a diocesan convention). Or when what's outside forces its way in, as happened in my family who have now all but one left ECUSA (and the last has special circumstances).

Trust me, I wasn't jumping on the Episcopalians, they're not any different than the rest of us.
