Ok, I'll explain (sigh).

You said that folks needed to "start treating others as Christ would."

So I chimed in with the way Christ treated folks at the Temple: by kicking over the money-changers' tables and flogging them out of the building. Sometimes Christ kicked people's butts.

Now, given that here on the Religion Forum folks sometimes are more in the "Here are two swords!" mode than the "turn the other cheek" mode, I figured I'd offer up that little vignette about how Christ (sometimes) treated people.

It was an attempt at humor.
Evidently not a very successful one...
