Even 400 years later is still a millenium closer to the event than the 1500s my friend! And it's 1600 years closer than you and I today.

So if chronology trumps the argument in your opinion...well.... :)

But apparently NONE of the bishops were even aware of the disappearance of Mary's bones. That's 400 years after the fact and 400 years of Christianity spreading throughout the continent. And no one knew anything about it.

That should tell a person something.
