I can attest from personal experience that reading from Chambers daily will almost certainly change - not one's faith - but one's perspective of his/her own faith, and open up new vistas in your spiritual life. Does He ever find me pondering the time when I cared only for Him? Is that where I am now, or have I chosen man’s wisdom over true love for Him? Am I so in love with Him that I take no thought for where He might lead me? Or am I watching to see how much respect I get as I measure how much service I should give Him?

This is good.

Days ago my tagline read, "Firstlove feelings always have at their core an intense desire to be with the beloved."

I am always amazed how what God is speaking to me in other ways is clarified, confirmed, built upon by what I read in Chambers the next day, or the next!

I am grateful to testify that the love I have for Jesus Christ is as on-fire blazing full of joy and glory glowing as the day I was first saved! Hallelujah! Oh, our Gracious Lord! Make it so for every one who is Thine!

I haven't always been referred to as 'the smartest one', or the 'quick learner'. But when God has been speaking just to me personally and I am hearing and redirecting myself according to what I'm hearing, And then He confirms it through something or someone else that I'm reading, it is truly a witness of the Holy Spirit and that I can hear Him without someone else to interpret it or drum it into me. He is so good, and patient and personal. That in itself makes you want to spend more time with Him.

Mercifully, God has brought me to the point where this one doesn't sting near as much as it did 30 years ago.

Nice to see He knows what He's doing in conforming me to the image of His Son.

Now, if He'd only work a little faster! LOL.

My emotions can still cover quite a range on a number of issues. But I'm emphatically more settled than ever

That God is God and always will be God.
That God is good all the time; that all the time, God is good.

That HE IS WORTHY our Praise and our Love.
