It's 2007, surely it's time for a new boogeyman.
I'm just sayin' is all.
As long as Warren continues to take political stances and perform political actions, and to issue press releases promoting himself doing those things, there will be news stories. And as long as Warren makes controversial statements, on political or religious/theological topics, those new stories will be interesting to read and discuss. And as long as Warren contradict himself publicly and openly via those releases, there will be other news stories about him. And they will be equally interesting to read and discuss.
IOW, as long as Warren keeps himself in the news, there will be threads. Unless you're asking us to put some scales over our eyes.
It's 2007, surely it's time for a new boogeyman.

Won't it be the day when FR makes the CFR it's new boogeyman!?
Rick Warren has done excellent work in church organization and in attracting the unsaved and getting them started in the Christian faith.
He's been a political boob.
Lately, though, he's just been boring. In his case, it's OK with me that he's a fad of a few years ago.
