That's just silly. All branches of Christianity believe that, or claim to, and every Christian on earth today who believes, believes because of the Apostles' message.
What do you think the word "apostolic" in the Nicene Creed means?
Evangelicals get all bent out of shape when Catholics claim someone like Irenaeus or Ignatius as one of our own. Your claim is at least as specious, probably much more so.
