Glad to hear it. I wish you the best, and also might add you may want to visit more than one if it's possible where you live.

There's some parishes that are very happy to see new faces, and some which (quite un-Christianly) are more worried... other stuff (language, race, number of finger you use to make the sign of the cross [no i'm serious!]).

I'm litle embarrassed to concede that.

That's hysterical. At the Baptist church we used to attend, on the issue of "raising hands" in worship, the church observed (an unwritten rule) what I called "The Armpit Rule" -- if one felt led to raise their arms in worship, anything above armpit level was frowned on. One of the aggrevating things about churches is also it's most endearing -- they're filled with human beings.
