And some have molested kids and some have fallen short of their calling. Don't paint with too broad a brush from limited experience.

The Catholic Church doesn't teach that you are going to hell... that is up to Jesus. We do know, however, that there is deeper truth and understanding in the Church for those who seek it. Go where Christ leads you and serve Him as He asks.

Being an elder in my church, my belief is strong. I know where I am heading, inspite of what some may believe. There is nothing in the Bible to counter my belief, but there are some things in the Catholic Church that do. I always go with the Bible first.

Since there is one body, truly listening to Christ will lead you to that body, and that body only. And, no, that body is not the Catholic church. It is the church we read about in the New Testament, His church.
