Actually, I would speak the word to them, so that they would be confronted with it.
The Word is quick and powerful and sharper than any two-edged sword, to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit.
The arguments we use will not necessarily be those of human wisdom (logic) for the foolishness of God is wiser than men.
Since Jesus' sheep hear His voice and know Him and follow, it is important for the sinful man to hear His words. His eventual response will determine if he was one of the sheep.

This was something I was going to point out earlier, but didn't...That the scriptures aren't simply dead words on a page, but are alive and active and able to quicken the heart of the one who is sensitive to God's calling. The words of scripture are not special because they were the consensus choice of some church council; they are special because they are God-breathed, and by the grace of God some church council recognized that.
