I understand that there is also an Anglican Use liturgy within the Catholic Church, wherein the Book of Common Prayer is used for the Mass (with minor updates). So there is no need to lose the liturgy Anglicans may be familiar with. You are correct, but whoever did the "updates" to the version I saw online some time back had quite the tin ear. It was every bit as clunky as ECUSA's '79.

Modernism is a problem with many of the translations, it is being addressed, but slowly.
