Jesus looked around and said to his disciples, "How hard it is for those who have wealth to enter the kingdom of God!" The disciples were amazed at his words. So Jesus again said to them in reply, "Children, how hard it is to enter the kingdom of God! It is easier for a camel to pass through (the) eye of (a) needle than for one who is rich to enter the kingdom of God."
Mark 10:23-25

The devil knows his scriptures, eh? He also knows how to take the scriptures out of context. You convieniently left out the following verses:

And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, Who then can be saved? And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible. (Mark 10:26-27 KJV)

Are you a rich man?

I dare say that I have riches beyond the dreams of Avarice and I am just a middle class country lawyer. That verse applies to all of us rich fat-cat Americans, not just to Pat Robertson. With man (rich or poor) salvation is impossible. But with God all things are possible.

Now, get thee behind me.
