I asked, Persevere unto the end 'of what'???

You answered, of your life

That's easy to say but one can not read Mat. 24 where this occurs and not see that the 'end' is the end of a period of time...The time known as the great tribulation...Has nothing to do with anyone's lifetime...

Mat 24:19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

IN THOSE DAYS

Mat 24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

Mat 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

OF THOSE DAYS

Mat 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Somehow your church got you to believe IT instead of the bible...

It fits perfectly with what I posted. Your life could end at any moment. Even if you are saved, as you claim you are, you could fall away before you die
