Maybe it's not strictly speaking germane, But I knew Rob at seminary, and he is a smart guy and a pious guy. He means well and he's been though a lot of tough stuff.
So, I renounced my orders and became a RC laydude, and he joined one of them teeny tiny Anglican outfits. One of us is wrong, and I don't think it's me. But this is a guy who loves the Lord and is trying his very hardest to do right.
Be nice, okay? I'd rather be wrong with guys like Rob than right with some folks I know, but I"m glad that's not the choice I have to make. I'm just saying: Rob's the real deal.
