CoasttoCoastAM with both hosts, George Norry and Art Bell, is getting close to 100% a single message: "the superior aliens are here to warn us that we are destroying the Earth."
Since George, Art, and their guests all direct their messages at us I presume that C2C blames the U.S. for the damage. Turn in your SUV keys, throw out your home air conditioning. . . .
If you play C2C radio shows backwards, you hear "Vote Al Gore, vote Al Gore. . . .
When not "the superior aliens" and their dire warnings about global warming, it's dire warnings about Bush: "Bush did it! Bush did it! "Everthing that is bad. Bush did it! Bush did it! "Everthing that is bad. . . ."
As a longtime regular listener to Coast I have noticed that both Bell and Noori are skeptical of most of their guests. As professional interviewers, though, they will let the guests play out the line all the way, catching them only on serious absurdities. Common errors in physics will be allowed.
