"""I know you are trying to insult me, but I happen to know people who are far more informed in theological matters than I am, and they agree with me on the subject of women in the priesthood."""

I'm glad you know people who've thought about it.

"""I gather your thinking that the "proper" interpretation of the Bible also means that women can't be college professors because women shouldn't be allowed to teach men?"""

You would be wrong, but that is the common slanderous cliché.

I'm not going to continue this unless you want to as it is in no way a "salvation issue".

THIS IS REALLY A MESSAGE TO THE US EPISCOPAL CHURCH - NEW AGE GNOSTICISM!

As of this day, the majority of Christendom does not ordain women. I have been for the ordination of women in the past, but am now wondering whether this practice should continue. I have been in ministry for many years and am looking at Catholicism. People don’t like rules and they don’t like a lot of tradition, but in light of where liberal Protestants are taking Protestant Christians, maybe it is better to be Catholic and have a firm foundation of teaching you can count on throughout the ages.
THE EPISCOPAL CHURCH IN THE US IS BASED ON FALSE TEACHING! INCLUSIVE - RIGHT, ONLY IF YOU AGREE WITH GLBT AND THEIR ACTIVISTS. COUNT ME OUT OF THIS KIND OF INSANITY. I would rather belong to a denomination that uses traditional words without all of the twisting and distortion. The Episcopal Church in the US is lost, a ship being tossed to and fro by every wind and wave of hip, corrupt culture.

When will GLBT sons and daughters love their parents enough to accept their parents when their conservative parents choose not to believe in the GLBT lifestyle? Ever wonder about that question?
