This shows me that he thought women were rather important because, in that time and that place, women were not exactly taken seriously. The fact that He showed that much trust in women is a reason why I have no problem with women as priests."

If you can get women priests from that, then you can get anything from the Bible.

I know you are trying to insult me, but I happen to know people who are far more informed in theological matters than I am, and they agree with me on the subject of women in the priesthood.

I gather your thinking that the "proper" interpretation of the Bible also means that women can't be college professors because women shouldn't be allowed to teach men?
