Let's start with the Communists murdering 30,000 clergy prior to WW2. They hunted down every clergyman who was willing to condemn what the Communists were doing and they murdered them. The clergy who survived learned that they could only feed his sheep if they kept a low profile. Yes, I knew that was the case with both Catholic and Orthodox priests in Communist regimes. I didn't think that the Orthodox priests were any less brave than Catholic ones.

Go figure.
