Recent PCUSA court cases in Louisiana and Mississippi have favored the local congregation, although the presbytery in Mississippi may have taken a dive on that lawsuit. In both cases, the congregation has remained in the denomination after the win.
The churches which have left in So. California, including All Saints in Long Beach and St. James in Newport Beach, have thus far won all court decisions to keep their property. (Rumor has it this has *really* ticked off the Bishop of L.A., Jon Bruno.)
