Why Obama will be president [Thank you, gullible evangelicals]
WorldNet Daily ^ | December 15, 2006 | Kevin McCullough

President Barack Hussein Obama – it does have a ring to it, doesn't it?

Two weeks ago on my broadcast I became the first syndicated voice that accurately predicted how Barack Hussein Obama will become our nation's next president. Rush Limbaugh, TIME magazine, the Los Angeles Times and CNN all seemed quite interested in my thinking on Obama.

For those who missed it, there were five reasons:

1. Raging Liberals

2. Disgusted Conservatives

3. Exhausted Moderates

4. Energized Blacks

5. Gullible Evangelicals (Thank you, Rick Warren ...)

[SNIP]

GULLIBLE EVANGELICALS – AGAIN: If the GOP could swing 15 percent of the black vote in any national election, they would win in a landslide. The same can be said of Democrats if they corner a similar percentage of evangelicals. In Rick Warren's original display of poor judgment in inviting Obama to his stage and lectern (just don't call it a pulpit), Obama was savvy enough to put himself in a prominent church where he could talk the talk – even if he finds it nearly impossible to walk the walk. Many of Warren's church members were infinitely wiser than he and asked about the wisdom of such an unbiblical move. Hundreds of thousands of evangelicals from across the nation politely asked Rick Warren to un-invite Obama, as he shares few if any of the major moral viewpoints of Scripture. Warren's reaction has been to attack those who pointed this out (namely me), and as I have now heard from multiple sources, he has even begun silencing or excommunicating members of his church who asked the thoughtful questions. Arming Obama with video footage from a Saddleback proceeding exceeded the limits of poor judgment.

Obama will be president.

Hillary will be president.

Rudy will be president.

McCain will be president.

Sure sounds like a media wish list to me. I can live with a "moderate" in the white house but only if we can regain conservative control in the house and senate.

He totally underestimates Hillary, brushing her aside as not well liked is too easy, the american memory is almost
as short as attention span.Besides hes forgotten how many
knee cap procedures the Clintons have performed.

Maybe the whole lot will go for a picnic in a Washington, DC area National Park.

I think a lot of people will tell a poll taker that they'll vote for Obama because they're afraid of being called a racist. When they're in the voting booth nobody's watching.

Not buying into this Alex.

It appears as if the MSM is trying to set up another straw man "front runner" to knock down for the 2k8 elections. It looks as if it's Howard Dean 2k4 part II.

Would be nice to see McCullough use his access to talk about Obama's record. Would especially like to hear how someone who reportedly blocked a bill four times that would have stopped doctors from leaving unwanted infants born alive to die is going to be elected president.

[Obama's record in the Illinois senate:]

- Opposed the Defense of Marriage Act; would work to repeal it in the U.S. Senate; would not vote for any legislation that would restrict the ability of gays and lesbians to marry.

- Opposed the Born Alive Infant Protection Act four times in Illinois. A similar bill passed the U.S. Senate 98-0. The Born Alive bill would have prohibited a baby from being born alive but left to die according to the mother's wishes. Obama inexplicably opposed this bill not once, twice, or three times, but four times.

- Obama took almost $90,000 in bundled contributions from the Council for a Livable World. The council is a well-known anti-defense organization.

- Obama puts rigid ideology before what's best for the people of Illinois, and presumably he would do that as President as well. He has on several occasions made public his opposition to the NAFTA trade agreement and his belief that it must be negotiated. All the while thanks to NAFTA, Illinois exports $1.3 billion in agricultural goods to Canada.

- Obama refused to vote for a bill in the Illinois State Senate that would have increased penalties for drug traffickers.

- Obama voted against a bill that would have delivered the death penalty to gang members who murder first responders.

- Finally, just in case you thought it couldn't get any worse, Obama was the only member of the Illinois State Senate to vote against a bill that prohibited early release for sexual predators.

I haven't observed that any particular religious persuasion, set of rigid, narrow biases, or perspective had a corner on the human capacity to be gullible.

It does appear that the capacity to dig up news items hostile to evangelicals and particularly Pentecostals and others energetic to do The Kingdom's work . . . that capacity to dig up dirt is amazingly robust and tireless. No doubt the dirt sellers are gleeful.

No doubt whoever those people are, they're not posting on FR. If they were, I'm sure you'd have been more specific in your rock-throwing.

That's the frightful truth at this point in time . . . though we are to fear only displeasing God and disappointing His Love.

It is plain to me that the puppet masters have set up such a list of globalist traitors to insure that their person gets in--regardless of which one.

God have mercy on us all.

A Fosterizing picnic in the Wash DC park could be productive to the security of the US of A if Shrillery were particularly depressed and wanted to take down the whole lot with her.

But I'd vote for a one way ticket to Mars or Titan for the lot of them.

There are serious folks who have contended off and on that the ET's have the capacity to clone folks as well as turn folks into their robots and place them or replace them in their roles.

I hope that's not true. Wouldn't want to bet the farm it's not true.

All is not lost. In my congressional district, we removed a very liberal republican (Joe Schwarz) and replaced him with evangelical minister Tim Walberg.
