And do you REALLY think that the Bishops 'dropped' CTA? How do you s'pose they wound up meeting in Milwaukee after Bernardin, their under-cover patron, died, leaving them without a Chicago home?

Right you are. Weakland (may God have mercy on his soul) and other Left-wing bishops have always been their sponsors - enablers - protectors. But since the late 70's it's been (officially) a lay run-amuck group.
