Your verses are taken out of context. To read it all, Paul says a man must pray with his head uncovered, however we see the Orthodox Jews always praying with hats or yamulkes on. A woman's long hair is a covering. Also and very important, note the sentence ending the chapter:
For it hath been declared unto me of you, my brethren, by them which are of the house of Chloe, that there are contentions among you.
If all Christians can argue about is the size of a Sunday hat, fortunate are they indeed.

And indeed Christians beleive St Paul, and Jews follow jewish traditions, like Circumcision, which St Paul also preached against at the first ecumenical council in Jersusalem with St James and St Peter.

This is simply anti-scripture. St Paul expounds in 282+ words why headcovering is important. Frankly issues such as divorce get similar attention in the New Testament. Clearly it was NOT a triviality.
