"Don't post to me again" is just another way to silence your opponents when they are speaking what you don't want to hear and you don't want others to hear it either. If one has scriptural truth to back up his arguments, he should post it, or accept correction, not pout. Instead of posting to me, you might start with your own friends. Amen.
Putting up a "DO NOT DISTURB" sign on a public internet forum is revealing because on the back of that sign is always written:
"I HAVE NO CREDIBLE NOR CONVINCING ARGUMENT."
Petulance is never pretty.

I remember having quite a few dust-ups with Quix, where he ranted and I posted scripture. He never said "don't post to me!", lol. When AlamoGirl and I went at it, the entire bible got posted, lol. and here we are friends. Iron sharpens iron, aluminum crumbles

Putting up a "DO NOT DISTURB" sign on a public internet forum is revealing... FWIW, there are some posters I won't post to because it seems they are trying to get those of differing views banned.
I find when I am hurting someone's feelings or being accused of "ad hominen" attacks I'm better off ignoring that person.

Actually there is another reason to put up what you call a do not disturb sign. I noticed this first on a Protestant thread discussing some of the more technical aspects of predestinationist thought. The Calvinists evidently wanted to focus on the finer points of doctrine and did not want to be disturbed by aggressive people who for whatever reason were attacking their entire system of thought -- no doubt out of love.
I respect that. Not every class has to be an introductory class taught before a hostile audience. It is not necessary to invite to every meal harpies who want not so much to eat as to make the food so foul that no one can eat it. Public fora are not limited to apologetics and forensics on basic points.
It gets my attention that a Protestant asked me to quit posting to him, and you all found nothing there worthy of comment, but when an EO or a RC objected to flamboyant mockery of his beliefs, you start saying it must mean he has no reason on his side.
