Now I am confused. I post articles from certain websites and you say that you only care what the church teaches. Now Kawaii posts a miscellaneous article from a newsletter and it equates to Kawaii's own personal beliefs on the subject. Gee. This is certainly an interesting way of looking at things. It is making me dizzy.

annalex <-- Roman Catholic as far as I know.
Kawaii <-- Orthodox Christian.

The only confusion you have is to continue to confuse Orthodox and Catholics from being congruent. Although our doctrines are practically identical, our expression of them isn't always. That's ALL annalex was saying and frankly I suspect you know full well that's the case.

Further annalex HARDLY ascribed it as a PERSONAL beleif of mine.

Personal interpretation leads only to the chaos of literally tens of thousands of denominations-established because each founder, having his own personal presuppositions, taught a somewhat different gospel.

I read the article and recognized the Catholic teaching on the subject of the rapture, despite the Orthodox source. This particular article is what the Church teaches on the subject; it also contains the criticism of the certain Protestant spin on 1 Thess. 4, and explain why it is symptomatic of the entire Protestant mindset, including the other eschatological persuasions of Protestants. This is why I praised the article.

Some other articles can be found that reflect a more personal view, which may not be a fair representation of the Catholic doctrine. For example, the head article here reflects the common view on the issue of labor pains of the Blessed Mother, and on the physiology of the Virgin Birth, but it does not reflect the doctrine because the doctrine is silent on that issue. When such situation arises, I bring attention to the doctrine. It does not always arise.
