Some times, sola gratia Dei, I am a good example.

Most of the time, however I'm a good example of a bad example.

Very kind of you to say what you said, and I will try (when I remember) to deserve it.

There are parts of Luther that are excellent, I think. There are parts of Calvin ditto. I learned someting from Calvin about the Eucharist that I COULD have learned elsewhere but I got it from Calvin, and lo it was pretty good!

So all this kind of theological jingoism gives me a rash in my nether regions. And then I disgrace myself. "Thus shall I ever do, O Lord, when thou leavest me to myself," as somebody said more or less.

That's cool. If I can take some things from Augustine then it's only fair that you can do the same with Calvin. :)
