It wasn't just idols or graven images. People were not to even set up images to bow down to them. You mean like the church shown here where people adorn a tomb with flowers and there is a statue of a man praying to other statues?

Very nice church. 1) There is nothing wrong with placing flowers on a grave according to God, and 2) I'm not sure if that man kneeing is, in fact, praying to those at the front. It still wouldn't be like people kneeing before them.
