The scriptures plainly state that Mary remained a virgin until the birth of Christ (Matt 1:25). If that is you point then I would agree. That is all we can glean.

That is all we can glean. *If* one is limited by 'sola scriptura'. If you are limited by 'sola scriptura', then if you are asked whether Christ caused Mary to lose her virginity, you have to answer, "I don't know".
