There was a few in Ames, Iowa while I was in college in 96-97 The actual MIGCM movement is only a couple months old. The extent of this "movement" involves a "couple of islands" in the Philippines. But, as Blogger, puts, it this was new worthy for Fox News (no surprise there).

There is also an anti pope (I think the blind Spanish one) who claims similar things.
