No, you are doing the same thing I talked about in #2063... I don't believe what you "pointed out" in post #2063 addresses the issue. There is no "sola scriptura" lens here. It comes down to what you, A8, want to personally believe. It is YOUR interpretation that the Church is the guiding force and so you are will to submit to the Church decrees. What you base this decision on I don't know.
