The Calvinists I know ... trust God that their children are members of the covenant and recipients of His promise that they are covered by the blood of Christ and forgiven their sins by His perfect atonement, as told to us in Scripture. What does being a "member of the covenant" have to do with election and reprobation? If nothing, then my question "Which is it?" remains unanswered.

If nothing, then my question "Which is it?" remains unanswered. lol. You know, I see you posting all over the forum that people haven't "answered your question."
At a certain point, that becomes a pretty obvious ploy of the weaker side of a debate.
As God wills.
