I am concerned that Warren was quoted as saying that he did not tape/record a certain statement about Syria, and that such a tape/record was later found. Perhaps he was unaware of the taping, but the truth is that the statement preserved is damning. It appeared that he truly did side with the Syrians.

In Warren's defense, I think he was naive and saw only what he wanted to see. A new market for his books.

He was not unaware because the crew taping him was the crew he brought with him from Saddleback. This guy takes a camera crew everywhere he goes to record his every move.
So, since he was not unaware and since he claimed that his statements had not been recorded I would say that makes Rick Warren a liar.
