Today '70's-style political activism is the only thing Episcopal leaders have in mind when they recall us to OUR "Baptismal Covenant", by which they mean THEIR political commitments that took shape in that era.

This pretty much sums up the discussion my mother and I had this morning. She is still in ECUSA although her parish is safe...for the moment anyway. Mother is finally beginning to open her eyes and see what is going on in the wider church outside her parish and she finally realizes it is more than Robinson's consecration.
