To be precise, neither Haggard nor his church are technically PROTESTANT, a distinction that continues to be lost on our Catholic friends, thanks to the over-generalizations and misinformation spread by Catholic apologists.

Nor is he being accused of being a PEDOPHILE, while we're at it. Haggard isn't accused of trading drugs for sex with underage altar boys, nor is he being shuffled from "protestant" congregation to congregation by his superiors. That's a distinction that should be noted as well.
