Gotta pretty much have a Windows machine (or an Intel Mac, which I have), and a lot of disk space. Other than that, Logos Bible Software runs pretty well. The only other caveat I'd give is that it can expand to fill your wallet. For example, the Early Church Fathers set is $300.
Erg. Our disk space is full of Star Wars games. I guess Pat will have to get a job if he wants to research heresies in the original language.
