I think that was part of the Greek Orthodox Lent devotion that Anoreth and I attended this year. The "Akathist."

Next time my mother sends me money, I'm going to order the book for that, or go over to St. Nektarios and buy it from their Tacky Basement Knick-knack Shoppe. Then I'd like to take a month off to read and meditate on it!

Good guess. There are a number of chants close to that in the Akathist. The line Mrs D posted, though, is part of the First Antiphon of the Divine Liturgy of +John Chrysostomos.
