Just because we each have our respective positions doesn't mean we don't take great joy in each other testimony and proclamation of Christ. You're probably a greater comfort than you realize. Me, OTOH, is a way for a good Catholic to grow in their faith. :O)

great joy in each other testimony and proclamation of Christ That is the most important part, isn't it. Our proclamation of our relationship to Christ. Which we all have in common. Listen, I'm a former Southern Baptist. So I have the privilege of growing in my faith from both sides.I appreciate my roots, as well as where I am today.
