Because you are trying to create the appearance of a contradiction within orthodox Catholicism. If Sullivan's book lacks the nihil obstat (and I suspect that it does), then your case for a contradiction within orthodox Catholicism is obviously deficient. Are F A Sullivan's writings Nihil Obstated and/or Imprimatured or not? Yes or No?

I don't have a copy of the book, but you can just look in the front cover to see if the nihil obstat is there or not. I suspect that his book is not nihil obstated.
