Perhaps the most significant change is coming from the rank and file, which until recently has been the most reliable constituency in the GOP coalition.It's all about the election for the Mercury News. I guess November 7 will tell the tale until the next election. Will evangelicals go blue in enough numbers to help the Dems regain power?
