If you notice further down in verses 24-26 Priscilla and Aquila are now in the synagogue listening to a Jew named Apollos....and then invite him to there home after services.

Apollos apprears to be dealing in the synagogue in much the same way as Paul, except without the knowledge. This was not a Christian worship service. That obvious by the fact the Priscilla and Aquila took him aside to help him calrify his views on Jesus Christ.

Why are you so adamant about observing the Catholic Sabbath in light of scriptural proof it is wrong?

Your "proof" amounts to nothing. The universal (catholic) church has interpreted the NT accounts for 2 millennia accurately regarding the change of the weekly sabbath from the last day to the first day. A few cults have opposed this view, but their exegetical efforts have amounted to straw.

Why do you suppose we again see Gentile Christians worshiping in the synagogues with the Jews?

God fearing greeks was a term used to describe gentiles who were following in Jewish ways but had not yet become full proselytes. It is not a synonym for "Christian".

Whether it be arians who deny the deity of Christ, seventh day sabbatarians to seek to liave according to old covenant shadows, or chiliasts who look for a fleshy, judaistic millenium, thankfully such views have been few and far between.

Amen.

The point I am making is that Apollos is in the synagogue.....worshiping [speaking with great fervor and teaching about Jesus accurately] but knowing only of the baptism of John. Priscilla and Aquila are listening and decide to take him home so they can further explain the way of God more adequately.

Now, my friend......you may wish to call this something else, but I say that this is a prime example of Jews and Christians worshiping together in the synagogues.

Why do you have such a disdain for God's Holy Sabbaths?

Epistle of Barnabas, XV, 8-9

The present sabbaths are not acceptable to me, but that which I have made, in which I will give rest to all things and make the beginning of an eighth day, that is the beginning of another world. Wherefore we also celebrate with gladness the eighth day.

TC, I have posted this one to you before, yet you persist. This shows with absolute clarity that the ECF were keeping the Sabbath. It also shows, for the benefit of our Catholic friends, that at least this guy believed that he had the power to change stuff. Readers, please pay careful attention, as the author says the present Sabbaths - plura. They were keeping the holy days as well. Also pay close attention that he writes that the Sabbaths were unacceptable to him, it mentions nothing of scripture or God's will.

There is much debate as to whether this author is referencing the 8th day as being the 8th millenia after the 1000 years or if he is referencing the 8th day of the Hellenists, which as you may know, was Sunday - the venerable day of the sun, not the venerable day of the Son.
