From the Rev. Daniel McGrath of St. Bartholomew's Anglican Church in Washington State, we have his new sermon Thou Shalt Not Make to Thyself Any Graven Image..., which is well worth reading. In particular note what Fr. McGrath has to say about devotion to material objects being more common today than one might think. He makes a very valid point here.
I would also call attention to Fr. McGrath's new blog An Anglican Parish Priest. This is yet ANOTHER blog worth one's time. I suppose somebody IS going to have to invent a 25-hour day to give us more time to read all these great blogs.
