But neither of the posters at 1884 replied on this thread, the second is banned. Thus reasoning (the missing and much sought-after trait in 1873) should have eliminated them entirely as ‘candidate’ targets of the pejoratives, lapdog and nameless.

Thus my point was and is illustrated.

Moreover, ahayes, two wrongs not make a right. And that truism applies to this mindless, knee-jerk, back and forth - scriptable - parroting of “talking points.” It tars both sides, but more so the side which eschews altogether the concept of accepting anything by faith and further holds itself up to be the master of Aristotlean reasoning.

If anyone would care to lay aside his talking points and pick up his thinking cap – then, bring it on – and we’ll let the readers judge for themselves if we [on “our” side] are boobs (ignorant and foolish) --- who is reasoning and who is parroting --- and which is more valuable.

An aside to King Prout: Free Republic does indeed frown on cross-forum posting and hereafter I will not engage in such activity. Some cross-forum posts are pulled, some end up in chat (such as DU cross posting.) But check the history, the ones who eventually suffer suspension or banishment are those who use other forums to conduct sniper warfare against this forum or posters on this forum - especially when they also appear here behaving as if their hands are clean.
