Saint Michael the Archangel,
defend us in battle.
Be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil.

I thought this was interesting too. We Catholics are asked to pray for the Pope's intentions every month. Pope Benedict's Prayer Intention for September:
That those who use the means of social communication may always do so conscientiously and responsibly.
I've been praying for the protection of St. Michael the Archangel too. My last couple of Rosary intentions have been for the safety and protection of our Pope.
