News this unusual deserves an exclamation mark in the headline.
In Leanne Larmondins August editorial she describes the situation in Canada in the light of ECUSAs General Convention. This comment regarding the Windsor Report caught my eye: Put simply, it is a difficult thing to ask a body as vast as an Anglican province to apologize about something for which a great deal of its members are not at all sorry.
I think shes hit the nail on the head here, and this is why the Anglican Communion cannot survive this ordeal unscathed. It will split, and there is not much anyone can do about it.
