the congregation was taught how to become seeker friendly, and a contemporary service started in 2005. The parking lot was upgraded, a sign scheme was put in place for the campus, a projector was introduced for the worship services, a greeter system and a welcome center were put in place. Contemporary music was used in worship, a discipleship process inaugurated, and a Discovery Class series was introduced as a required membership class. This class created unity and a sense of purpose." The parish had completed the Forty Days of Purpose...Out of the frying pan and into the fire?

I don't think so. The
Rev. Dr. Sanders is highly esteemed among the orthodox Episcopalians, and particularly with the Evangelical wing (including
David Virtue. AMiA services also tend to look more "protestant" rather than high-church Anglo-Catholic.
(Gman, can you comment here?)

I would just add: from what I know of the AMiA, if I were Evangelical wing Episcopalian and in the area, I'd be jumpi... no... shouting Hallelujahs for joy!
