Actually, DrE, I was responding to a comment from you that asked me to evaluate the opinion of (those 2?) regarding Israel.
I said that I didn't know them well enough, that for all I knew they were part of the divest from Israel crowd. Since calvinists are commonly presbyterians, and the PCUSA is on recording voting on that divestiture, then it wasn't anyplace close to the absurdity you mention.

I disagree with them over many of their recent moves, but what's wrong with putting members offerings into needy projects where it's needed at home, rather than abroad?
