***Are you willing to say that the river turned to real blood? Or did it just turn red and smelly?***

You stand on the shore. The river is crimson. It stinks. The fish die. What do you do? go down, stick your finger in it? Taste it? Or just look at it because it looks like blood you call it blood.

Consider how the spies in Cannan were as grasshoppers before the giants. How tall were the giants? seven feet? one hundred feet? five hundred feet?

And who could forget that Saul has slain his thousands and David his ten thousands. How many did david really kill in that battle? One.

Never forget man's ability to exagurate.

= = = =

Soooooooooo, now I'm supposed to assume, based on this . . . assumption . . .

that God--who is not a man that He should lie . . .

composed HIS WORD full of exaggerations? And, worse, He declined to tell us which phrases were exaggerations and which were 100% literally accurate . . . just 'cause He felt ornery those days?

That's a lot more than I'm prepared to buy into.

Never forget man's ability to exagurate.

I am amazed both at your ignorance of scripture and your ignorance of spelling rules.

GOD SAID he was going to turn the river into blood. If it was not blood, then God was a liar. Moses didn't have to "exagurate" what happened. God told Moses that he was going to turn the river into blood and he did it. End of story. Nobody had to taste the river to see that it was blood. We had God's word on it.

And the LORD spoke unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Take thy rod, and stretch out thine hand upon the waters of Egypt, upon their streams, upon their rivers, and upon their ponds, and upon all their pools of water, that they may become blood; and that there may be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood, and in vessels of stone.

I can't believe some of the stuff I read on this forum.

Is there anybody else out there who doesn't think it was blood?
